WE MANUFACTURE ALL TYPES OF FILTER BAGS
Our 30 years of filter manufacturing experience has given us the ability to produce filter bags for all types of dust collection equipment. Baghouse types are generally described by the filter cleaning method that they employ. The section below lists those types, and the common varieties of bag constructions that we manufacture.
FILTER BAGS FOR ALL TYPES OF BAGHOUSES
PULSE JET COLLECTORS
- SNAP BAND TOP - flexible steel band with double beaded gasket to create dust tight seal.
- FLANGE TOP - a gasketing collar that forms dust tight seal when compressed against tubesheet.
- RING TOP - steel ring sewn at top to secure bag to tubesheet.
- RAW TOP - primarily used in bottom load collectors, utilizes clamp to create seal.
- WEAR CUFF - used at bottom of bag to prevent bag to bag wear, and bag to cage wear.
- DISC INSERT BOTTOM - using two needle lockstitch to provide maximum strength and durability.
REVERSE AIR COLLECTORS
- SNAP BAND TOP - flexible steel band with double beaded gasket to create dust tight seal.
- CAP TOP - closes top of bag and connects to tensioning assembly.
- BEADED CUFF TOP - attaches to thimble with clamp.
- POCKET TOP - holds hardware for hanging of bags.
- TAIL TOP - used for hanging and tensioning of bags.
- EXPANSION RINGS - resist collapse of bag during cleaning cycle.
- CUFF BOTTOM - standard bottom connection, requires clamp.
SHAKER COLLECTORS
- LOOP TOP - used for hanging and tensioning of bags.
- GROMMET TOP - used for hanging and tensioning of bags.
- STRAP TOP - used for hanging and tensioning of bags.
- SNAP BAND BOTTOM - flexible steel band with double beaded gasket to create dust tight seal.
- CUFF BOTTOM - standard bottom connection, requires clamp.
FABRICS AVAILABLE
POLYESTER - available in woven or felt, this product is the most widely used media for dust collection, it is capable of operating up to 275 F (135 C).
POLYPROPYLENE - available in woven or felt, this product provides enhanced chemical and moisture absorption resistance, it is capable of operating up to 200 F (94 C).
HOMOPOLYMER ACRYLIC - available in woven or felt, this product provides chemical resistance similar to polypropylene while allowing operation up to 250 F (121 C).
COTTON - available in woven media only, this product is most commonly used in shaker collectors operating as silo vents, capable of operating up to 180 F (82 C).
ARAMID (Conex ®, Nomex ®) - available in woven or felt, this product performs at high temperatures while retaining strength, abrasion resistance, and dimensional stability, capable of operating up to 400 F (204 C).
ASPHALT EATER tm - available in felt only, a proprietary blend of Aramid, PPS, and P-84 ®, this product was designed for operation in modern hot mix plant baghouses with increased RAP content, capable of operating up to 400 F (204 C).
PPS Ryton ®, Torcon ®, Procon ® - available in woven or felt, this product provides chemical resistance similar to polypropylene and acrylic while allowing operation up to 375 F (190 C).
P-84 ® - available in woven or felt, this product was designed to provide enhanced efficiency and maximize airflow while allowing operation at temperatures up to 500 F (260 C).
GLASS (Fiberglass, Huyglas ®) - available in woven or felt, these products with their various finish options provide high chemical and temperature resistance, capable of operating up to 500 F, (260 C).
PTFE (Teflon ®, Toyoflon ®, Profelin ®) - available in woven or felt, this product provides the maximum chemical resistance available in bag filtration today, capable of operating up to 500 F (260 C).
FINISHES AVAILABLE
SINGE - available on polyester, polypropylene, homopolymer acrylic, aramid, PPS, and P-84 r. This finish is used on the collection surface of the bag to promote pimagesiculate discharge during cleaning.
GLAZE - available on polyester and polypropylene. This finish is used in a manner similar to the singe, but with greater discharge capabilities. Good for handling sticky/agglomerating pimagesiculate.
FLAME RETARDANT - available on polyester, polypropylene, and cotton.
HCE SILICONE - available on polyester, polypropylene, homopolymer acrylic, and aramid. This finish is used to provide water repellency, abrasion resistance, and high collection efficiency (HCE). Resists degradation of treatment by oils or typical baghouse cleaning cycle.
FINISHES AVAILABLE FOR GLASS FABRIC
TRI-TEMP and TRIPLE FINISH - composed of a proprietary blend of graphite, Teflon ®, and silicone oils.
TEFLON ® "B", - composed of a 10% (by weight) coating of Teflon ®.
ACID RESISTANT - composed of a proprietary blend of graphite, Teflon ®, silicone oils, and acid resistant polymer.
FB-700 - a proprietary ceramic finish developed by 3M tm to allow operation of filter media up to 700 F (371 C).
FB-900 - a proprietary ceramic finish developed by 3M tm to allow operation of filter media up to 900 F (482 C).
COATINGS AVAILABLE
TUFFCOAT - available on polyester and homopolymer acrylic. This coating is applied to the collection surface of the filter media. It's cellular structure provides enhanced collection efficiency while maintaining good airflow. The slick surface promotes pimagesiculate discharge during cleaning.
PTFE COATING - available on polyester, polypropylene, homopolymer acrylic, and aramid. The PTFE polymers allow for the engineering of smaller pore size which provide enhanced efficiency while handling pimagesiculate with median pimagesicle sizes of less than 10 microns. This coating is applied to the collection surface of the filter media and provides increased chemical resistance, moisture resistance, and a slick surface to promote pimagesiculate discharge.
PTFE MEMBRANE - available on polyester, polypropylene, homopolymer acrylic, aramid, PPS, P-84 ®, and glass. This product is produced by heat laminating an expanded PTFE membrane to one of the aforementioned base media. The membrane laminated products provide the highest collection efficiencies available in baghouse filtration. They are capable of achieving 99.9%+ efficiency in many cases. This product will not absorb water and will retain very high airflows in humid environments.
